About the video: ‘Do myths still matter?’

Deepak Chopra talks about the evolution of human consciousness. He says that if we are to resolve the many problems in our world we need to break out of the ‘hypnosis of social conditioning.’ He explains how mythology has conditioned society throughout history noting that new mythologies continue to emerge. These new archetypal stories are much needed, he says, and can help solve problems of ecology, bigotry, prejudice and war.
