About the video: ‘what can designers learn from biologists? (part 2)’

In this second part of a two-part series, Janine Benyus discusses the pressing need to educate engineers, designers and even biologists in the field of functional biology. Nature offers us 3.8 billion years of research and development, and this vast wealth of information and inspiration can and must be harnessed to greater effect if we are to successfully transition to sustainability. In addition to educational reform, Benyus shares other ideas that could help disseminate a broader understanding of nature’s genius.
