About the video: ‘What would a sustainable economics look like?’

Kiuchi believes that after Keynesian-style capitalism we now need to embrace what he calls Natural Economics, an economics in tune with the environment. He believes that the productivity of natural resources, rather than the productivity of labour, needs to be emphasized. Beyond this, economic activity needs to become ecologically restorative. In the field of energy we need to focus on renewables and energy efficiency, rather than build further nuclear capacity.
