About the video: ‘How are the solutions to major global problems related?’

Michael Totten describes how climate change is linked to other problems such as poverty and species loss. He is confident that solutions are available that combat climate change while at the same time helping to address these challenges. He describes how low-cost computing and the internet have helped create an environment where individuals can participate in this process more fully. He also believes that countries in the global south now have the opportunity to leapfrog inefficient energy infrastructure by investing in cleaner resources, thereby saving trillions of dollars in the coming decades.
