About the video: ‘What are different forms of socially responsible investing?’

Tessa Tennant looks at the evolution of Social Responsible Investing (SRI). Since SRI emerged in the mid-1980s it has taken on many different mutations. Tennant describes SRI’s various characteristics around the globe, from Europe’s focus on clean energy and recycling to Japan’s interest in robust Corporate Social Responsibility. She looks at more recent developments in ethical investment – particularly China’s first SRI fund and the rise in Sharia investing in the Middle East.
