About the video: ‘What will a new green economy look like? (Part 1)’

John Elkington believes the global economy is susceptible to a major shock on account of burgeoning social and environmental crises. In the face of this, mainstream corporations are now looking to social entrepreneurs for business ideas that mitigate risks and leverage market opportunities. New entrepreneurial activity, much of which is backed by wealthy foundations or venture capitalist institutions, could well be paving the way towards a very different approach to doing business.
