About Tony Juniper

Tony Juniper is a campaigner, writer, sustainability adviser and environmentalist.
For the last 25 years he has worked for change toward a more sustainable society at local, national and international levels.
From 1990 he worked at Friends of the Earth as organisation’s executive director (2003-2008) and Vice Chair of Friends of the Earth International (2000-2008).
He now works as an independent sustainability and environment adviser.
He is the editor-in-chief of National Geographic Green Magazine and is author of several books, including the “Guide to the Parrots of the World” (1998), “Spix’s Macaw”(2002) and “How Many Light Bulbs Does It Take To Change A Planet?” (2007).
