About the video: ‘How do we deal with global warming?’

Achim Steiner spells out the challenge at hand with regards to mitigating the worst of climate change. He highlights the value of the work carried out by the IPCC and Nicholas Stern in advancing understanding about the implications of further global warming. The challenge that lies before us is to stabilize greenhouse gas emissions within the next 10-15 years. We must then reduce emissions globally if we are to avoid runaway climatic change.
