About the video: ‘How will business change as our focus on the environment increases?’

Hazel Henderson believes that the current system within which businesses operate will become obsolete over time. The changing composition of the Fortune 500 in the last 20 years illustrates a natural evolution in the business environment. The sustainability sector – which encompasses renewable energy, clean food, organic agriculture and preventive approaches to healthcare – represents a sea change. As the sector matures, new ways of measuring growth and prosperity will emerge. This is something the Chinese government understands. See also: Bill McDonough
