About the video: ‘Is there a role for business other than to make profit?’

Giscard d’Estaing believes that business must embrace a wider responsibility to society. The business sector represents a massive driving force for change and must be engaged if the world is to tackle serious social and environmental problems. But positive results can only be achieved if businesses are seen to be ethical by its customers and stakeholders. Signing up to the nine ethical principles proposed by the United Nations is a good start. Business Schools are also helping in the provision of the required education.
