Tony Juniper is an environmental campaigner, writer and sustainability advisor. From 1990 he worked at Friends of the Earth, becoming the organisation's executive director between 2003 and 2008. He now works as an independent sustainability and environment adviser and stood as the Green Party's candidate in Cambridge in the 2010 UK general elections. He is the editor-in-chief of National Geographic Green and author of several books, including Spix's Macaw (2002) and How Many Light Bulbs Does It Take To Change A Planet? (2007).
