Terry Tempest Williams is an author, naturalist, and environmental activist. Currently the Annie Clark Tanner Scholar in Environmental Humanities at the University of Utah, she has been a lifelong advocate for the preservation of the American Western wilderness. She's author of several books including The Open Space of Democracy (2004) and Finding Beauty in a Broken World (2008).
