Dr Mae-Wan Ho is a geneticist and biophysicist. She is director of the Institute of Science in Society, co-founder of the International Science Panel on Genetic Modification and scientific advisor to the Third World Network. Her books include Genetic Engineering - Dream or Nightmare? (1998) and The Case for a GM-free Sustainable World (2004).
