Julia Marton-Lefevre is Director General of the World Conservation Union (IUCN), the world's largest conservation network. She also sits on the Board of Directors of the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED). Prior positions have included Rector of the UN-mandated University for Peace, Executive Director of LEAD International and Executive Director of the International Council for Science (ICSU).
