John Nichols is the political correspondent for The Nation magazine and is a frequent guest on radio and television. He is co-founder of Free Press, a media-reform network working to increase informed public participation in media policy debates and to generate policies that will produce a more competitive and public interest-oriented media system. Nichols is the author of several books, including The Genius of Impeachment (2006).
