Biography
President of ACORE, Renewable Energy Expert from United States
Mike Eckhart has over 25 years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, high technology, and finance.
He is President of the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), a non-profit organization that works to promote the use of renewable energy in the United States.
He is also the North American Secretariat for the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP).
He is a 2008 recipient of the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship.
In 1998 he was named Renewable Energy Man of the Year of India for his work in bringing financing to solar energy markets.
