Biography
Dean at Beijing University, Consultant from China
C. S. Kiang is the Founding Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Beijing. In this role he has been responsible for bringing to China many of the world’s leading experts on sustainable development to educate the next generation of Chinese leaders. Prior to this he was an Institute Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he led the environment science, engineering and policy program.
He is currently the CEO of Sustainable Development Technologies and Vice Chairman of Global Urban Development. He is a Councillor of the World Future Council, a member of Advisory Board of the Climate Change Capital, a member of International Council of Asia Society and a member of the Global Agenda Council of Climate Change of the World Economic Forum.
