John Todd is an award-winning inventor and biologist working in the fields of design and alternative technology. His principle interests include solving problems relating to sewage treatment and water purification. He is a published author, a renowned public speaker and a lecturer at the University of Vermont. He is also co-founder of Living Technologies Inc., an ecological design, engineering and construction firm.
He is recipient the Daimler-Chrysler Award for Innovation in Design (1994), the Environmental Merit Award from the US Environmental Protection Agency (1996), the Bioneers Lifetime Achievement Award (1998).
