Primatologist, humanitarian and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute. Dr. Goodall is also the founder of the global youth programme Roots and Shoots. She is a United Nations ‘Messenger of Peace’ as well as the recipient of the 2001 Gandhi/King Award for Nonviolence.
