Physicist, Environmental Activist from India

Dr. Vandana Shiva is a physicist, ecologist and environmental activist. She is the founding director of the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology in India and is a leader in the International Forum on Globalization. Vandana appeared in the film The Corporation (2003) and is also featured in the documentary “Fed up!:Genetic Engineering, Industrial Agriculture and Sustainable Alternatives.”
She’s author of several books; her latest publication is “Soil not Oil” (2008).
