Sir Peter Hall is Bartlett Professor of Planning and Regeneration at University College, London and President of the Town and Country Planning Association, Britain’s oldest environmental charity. Previous posts include Director of the Institute of Urban and Regional Development at the University of California, Berkeley. He has advised the British, American and Australian governments on urban development issues and has published over thirty books. Sir Peter Hall is widely acclaimed as the world’s most senior academic in the field of urban geography and city planning.
